Sañjaya said: “O King, may welfare be yours. The Pāñcālas, together with the Pāṇḍavas, keep their eyes fixed on Yudhiṣṭhira’s face; and he, in turn, directs and instructs them all—assigning each their proper tasks.”

Educational Q&A

Legitimate authority in a dharmic polity is recognized not merely by power but by trust and moral standing: allies look to Yudhiṣṭhira for guidance, and he organizes them through instruction and proper assignment of duties.

Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Pāñcālas and Pāṇḍavas are attentively watching Yudhiṣṭhira and taking direction from him, indicating unified command and readiness for coordinated action.
