संजय उवाच दृष्टवानस्मि राजेन्द्र कुन्तीपुत्रान महारथान् | मत्स्यराजगृहावासनिरोधेनावकर्शितान्,संजयने कहा--राजेन्द्र! मैंने महारथी कुन्तीपुत्रोंका दर्शन किया है। वे अज्ञातवासके समय मत्स्यनरेश विराटके घरमें छिपकर रहनेके कारण अत्यन्त दुबले हो गये हैं
sañjaya uvāca dṛṣṭavān asmi rājendra kuntīputrān mahārathān | matsyarājagṛhāvāsanidhānena avakarśitān |
Sañjaya said: “O king, I have seen the mighty chariot-warriors, the sons of Kuntī. Because they had to remain concealed while dwelling in the house of the Matsya king, Virāṭa, during their period of incognito exile, they have been greatly worn down and emaciated.”
