Educational Q&A

Even amid looming crisis, rulers are shown observing sabhā-maryādā (the discipline and dignity of the council). The verse highlights ordered public conduct as a foundation for legitimate deliberation and dharmic governance.

Radiant, powerful kings enter the assembly hall and occupy the beautifully arranged seats, setting the stage for formal discussion and decisions within the royal council context of the Udyoga Parva.
