Sanatsujāta-Āhvāna (Summoning Sanatsujāta) — Vidura’s Invocation and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Doubt

Sanatsujāta says: Even if someone in this world were to know all the gods who are believed to grant desired successes, he still would not equal the true knower of Brahman. For that seeker of the gods strives only for the attainment of wished-for results, whereas the Brahman-knower stands beyond such goal-driven pursuit.
