हंस–साध्यसंवादः, वाक्-निग्रहः, महाकुल-लक्षणम्, शान्ति-उपायः
Hamsa–Sādhya Dialogue; Restraint of Speech; Marks of Noble Lineage; Means to Peace
कृत्यानि पूर्व परिसंख्याय सर्वा- ण्यायव्यये चानुरूपां च वृत्तिम् । संगृह्लीयादनुरूपान् सहायान् सहायसाध्यानि हि दुष्कराणि,पहले कर्तव्य एवं आय-व्यय और उचित वेतन आदिका निश्चय करके फिर सुयोग्य सहायकोंका संग्रह करे, क्योंकि कठिनसे कठिन कार्य भी सहायकोंद्वारा साध्य होते हैं
kṛtyāni pūrvaṃ parisaṅkhyāya sarvāṇy āyavyaye cānurūpāṃ ca vṛttim | saṅgṛhṇīyād anurūpān sahāyān sahāyasādhyāni hi duṣkarāṇi ||
Vidura advises that one should first enumerate all duties to be done, then determine income and expenditure and fix remuneration in a fitting manner. Only after such planning should one gather capable assistants suited to the task—for even the most difficult undertakings are accomplished through the help of assistants.
