त्वमेव न: प्रियतमो5सि दूत इहागच्छेद्‌ विदुरो वा द्वितीय: । अभीक्षणदृष्टोडसि पुरा हि नस्त्वं धनंजयस्यात्मसम: सखासि,संजय! तुम्हीं हमारे अत्यन्त प्रिय हो। जान पड़ता है, दूसरे विदुरजी ही (दूत बनकर) यहाँ आ गये हैं। पहले भी तुम हमसे बारंबार मिलते रहे हो और धनंजयके तो तुम अपने आत्माके समान प्रिय सखा हो

tvam eva naḥ priyatamo 'si dūta ihāgacched viduro vā dvitīyaḥ | abhīkṣṇa-dṛṣṭo 'si purā hi nas tvaṃ dhanañjayasya ātma-samaḥ sakhāsi, saṃjaya ||

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “You alone are our most beloved envoy. It seems as though Vidura himself has come here as a second messenger. For you have often met with us before; and to Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) you are a friend as dear as his own self, O Sañjaya.”
