Yudhiṣṭhira said: “And those other foremost youths of the Kuru line as well—who are our sons, grandsons, and brothers—whomever among them you judge fit for a particular manner of address, speak to each accordingly. O Sūta, convey to them all that the Pāṇḍavas are well and in good spirits.”

Appropriate speech (yathā-yogya) is an ethical duty: even amid political tension, one should address each person according to relationship and propriety, and communicate goodwill and well-being rather than provocation.
Yudhiṣṭhira instructs the messenger to inform the leading young Kurus—who are also close relatives of the Pāṇḍavas—each in a manner suited to him, and to convey that the Pāṇḍavas are safe and content, maintaining a diplomatic and familial tone.
