Educational Q&A

Dharma includes both restraint and strength: one should sincerely seek peace, yet remain capable of defending righteousness. Equally important is truthful communication—Sañjaya is urged to convey the situation to Dhṛtarāṣṭra exactly as it is, without bias or distortion.

Vāyudeva addresses Sañjaya, characterizing the Pāṇḍavas as righteous and peace-inclined but fully battle-ready. He instructs Sañjaya to inform King Dhṛtarāṣṭra accurately, highlighting the Pāṇḍavas’ balanced stance before the impending conflict.
