निर्वनो वध्यते व्याप्रो निर्व्याच्रंं छिद्यते वनम्‌ । तस्माद्‌ व्याप्रो वन रक्षेद्‌ वन॑ व्याप्रं च पालयेत्‌,क्योंकि वनसे बाहर निकला हुआ व्याप्र मारा जाता है और बिना व्याप्रके वनको सब लोग आसानीसे काट लेते हैं। अतः व्याप्र वनकी रक्षा करे और वन व्याप्रकी

Translation

“A wild creature that leaves the forest is slain; and a forest without wild creatures is easily cut down by men. Therefore the creature should protect the forest, and the forest should in turn protect the creature.”
