Adhyāya 195 — Arjuna’s Capability and Restraint Regarding Divyāstras

भीम॑ च युयुधानं च पाण्डवं च धनंजयम् | द्वितीय॑ं प्रेषयामास बलस्कन्ध॑ युधिष्ठिर:,भीमसेन, सात्यकि तथा पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुनको युधिष्ठिरने द्वितीय सैन्यसमूहका नेता बनाकर भेजा
bhīmaṃ ca yuyudhānaṃ ca pāṇḍavaṃ ca dhanaṃjayam | dvitīyaṃ preṣayāmāsa balaskandhaṃ yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Yudhiṣṭhira dispatched Bhīma, Yuyudhāna (Sātyaki), and the Pāṇḍava Dhanañjaya (Arjuna), appointing them as leaders of the second military division. The passage underscores disciplined organization and responsible command in a righteous cause, where strength is directed under lawful authority rather than personal impulse.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in the approach to war, dharma expresses itself through disciplined command, clear delegation, and restraint—power is to be organized under rightful leadership rather than driven by anger or vanity.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Yudhiṣṭhira assigns Bhīma, Sātyaki (Yuyudhāna), and Arjuna (Dhanañjaya) to lead and move out with the second military division, indicating structured deployment of the Pāṇḍava forces.
