स्वलंकृतमिदं वेश्म स्थूणस्यामितविक्रमा: । नोपसर्पति मां चैव कस्मादद्य स मन्दधी:

Transliteration

svalaṅkṛtam idaṁ veśma sthūṇasyāmitavikramāḥ | nopasarpati māṁ caiva kasmād adya sa mandadhīḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma said: “This palace is well adorned, and the mighty heroes stand like pillars within it. Yet why does that dull-witted man not come near me today as well?”
