शिखण्डिने च मुदित: प्रादाद्‌ वित्तं जनेश्वर: । हस्तिनो<श्चांश्व गाश्वैव दास्यो5थ बहुलास्तथा,राजाने अत्यन्त प्रसन्न होकर अपने जामाता शिखण्डीको भी बहुत धन, हाथी, घोड़े, गाय, बैल और दासियाँ दीं

Śikhaṇḍine ca muditaḥ prādād vittaṁ janeśvaraḥ | hastino 'śvān gāś caiva dāsyo 'tha bahulās tathā ||

The lord of the people, delighted at heart, bestowed abundant wealth upon Śikhaṇḍī as well—along with elephants, horses, cattle, and many maidservants.
