Transliteration

tatra puṇyeṣu tīrtheṣu sā pluta-aṅgī divāniśam vyacarat kāśikanyā sā yathākāma-vicāriṇī

Translation

There, at those meritorious sacred fords, the maiden of Kāśī—slender-limbed and free to go as she wished—wandered about day and night, moving from one holy place to another in search of her chosen aim.
