सा कन्या तु महाराज प्रविश्याश्रममण्डलम् | यमुनातीरमाश्रित्य तपस्तेपेडतिमानुषम्,महाराज! फिर उस कन्याने आश्रममण्डलमें पहुँचकर यमुनाके तटका आश्रय ले ऐसी कठोर तपस्या की, जो मानवीय शक्तिसे परे है
sā kanyā tu mahārāja praviśyāśramamaṇḍalam | yamunātīram āśritya tapas tepe 'timānuṣam ||
O King, that maiden entered the precincts of the hermitage and, taking refuge on the bank of the Yamunā, undertook an austerity so severe that it surpassed ordinary human capacity.
