ततः सूतव्यसनिन विप्लुतं मां स भार्गव: । शरेणाभ्यहनद् गाढं विकृष्य बलवद्धनु:,उस समय मैं सारथिकी मृत्युके कारण व्याकुल था तो भी भृगुनन्दन परशुरामने अपने सुदृढ़ धनुषको जोर-जोरसे खींचकर मुझपर बाणसे गहरा आघात किया
tataḥ sūtavyasanin viplutaṃ māṃ sa bhārgavaḥ | śareṇābhyahanad gāḍhaṃ vikṛṣya balavaddhanuḥ ||
Then, while I was shaken and distressed by the calamity that had befallen my charioteer, that Bhārgava—Paraśurāma—drew his mighty bow to its full stretch and struck me hard with an arrow.
