Amba-ākhyāna prologue
योत्स्येते बलिनौ शूरौ परं शक््त्या क्षयिष्यत: । पाण्डवोंके लिये महान् पराक्रम करनेवाले बलवान् शूरवीर अज और भोज दोनों महारथी हैं। वे सम्पूर्ण शक्ति लगाकर युद्ध करेंगे और अपने पुरुषार्थका परिचय देंगे ।।
yotsyete balinau śūrau paraṁ śaktyā kṣayiṣyataḥ |
Bhīṣma declares that two mighty, heroic warriors will enter battle exerting the full measure of their strength, resolved to deal destruction on the field. The point is their total devotion to the warrior’s duty and the fierce determination with which they will display their prowess for the Pāṇḍavas’ cause.
