Sañjaya said: He reported in full, exactly as it had been spoken, Arjuna’s message; and he also recounted the manly resolve and spirited words of Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa), of Bhīma, and of Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira—conveying their steadfast stance on duty and honor amid the gathering storm of war.

Faithful transmission of speech is treated as an ethical duty in diplomacy: the messenger must convey words exactly as spoken, while the leaders’ pauruṣa (resolute valor) signals commitment to dharma even when conflict becomes unavoidable.
Sañjaya narrates that the envoy reports Arjuna’s message verbatim and also conveys the determined stance expressed by Kṛṣṇa, Bhīma, and Yudhiṣṭhira, intensifying the diplomatic exchange that precedes the Kurukṣetra war.
