Bṛhaspati said: “O Lord of the gods, the human king Nahuṣa, empowered by the radiance and spiritual might of the host of divine seers, has attained the sovereignty of heaven; and now he grievously oppresses all of us.”
शल्य उवाच
Legitimate power gained through others’ merit or spiritual force can still become destructive when driven by arrogance; dharma requires restraint and protection of others, not oppression.
Bṛhaspati reports that Nahuṣa, a human king, has obtained the rule of heaven through the potency associated with the divine seers and is now tormenting the gods, creating a crisis of order.
