Educational Q&A

Even in times of impending war, one should act with restraint and propriety: seek consent, maintain cordial relations, and pursue purifying duties (like tīrthayātrā) without inflaming conflict.

After speaking to the Pāṇḍavas, Balarāma takes their permission, ensures Kṛṣṇa is satisfied (i.e., matters are duly settled), and then departs for a pilgrimage to sacred places.
