वैशम्पायन उवाच
Before acting in a crisis, one should listen fully to wise counsel—especially from elders and morally grounded advisors—so that decisions are informed by dharma, prudence, and the broader consequences.
The narrator notes that the addressee has already heard the complete advice of key figures—Vidura, Bhīṣma, and Kuntī—signaling that the deliberative stage is thorough and that the coming decision will be made with full awareness of these perspectives.
