वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even on the brink of war, righteous leadership expresses itself through responsible care for one’s people and resources—choosing a sustainable campsite with fodder and fuel reflects foresight, restraint, and duty toward the army’s welfare.
After proceeding onward, Yudhiṣṭhira selects a suitable, level, pleasant area rich in fodder and firewood and orders the army to encamp there, marking an organized stage in the Pāṇḍavas’ preparations.
