Shloka 4

ऋषियानेन दिव्येन मामुपैहि जगत्पते । एवं तव वशे प्रीता भविष्यामीति तं॑ वद,'शुभे! तुम्हें गुप्तरूपसे यह कार्य करना है। कहीं (भी इसे) प्रकट न करना। सुमध्यमे! तुम एकान्तमें नहुषके पास जाकर कहो--जगत्पते! आप दिव्य ऋषियानपर बैठकर मेरे पास आइये। ऐसा होनेपर मैं प्रसन्नतापूर्वक आपके वशमें हो जाऊँगी”

ṛṣiyānena divyena mām upaihi jagatpate | evaṁ tava vaśe prītā bhaviṣyāmīti taṁ vada ||

Śalya instructs her to say: “Lord of the world, come to me seated upon the divine ṛṣis as your conveyance. If you do so, I shall gladly submit to your power.”
