Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 137 — Bhīṣma–Droṇa Counsel and the Ethics of Restraint
ज्येष्ठो भ्राता धर्मशीलो वत्सल: शलक्ष्णवाक् कवि: । तं॑ गच्छ पुरुषव्याप्रं व्यपनीयेह किल्बिषम्
jyeṣṭho bhrātā dharmaśīlo vatsalaḥ ślakṣṇavāk kaviḥ | taṃ gaccha puruṣavyāghraṃ vyapanīyeha kilbiṣam ||
“Your eldest brother is righteous in conduct, affectionate, gentle in speech, and discerning like a poet. Go to that tiger among men; by doing so, remove the fault that has arisen here.”
