Educational Q&A

A true Kṣatriya-hero is defined ethically: he restrains the unrighteous and safeguards those devoted to dharma, and his valor is inseparable from truth.

The speaker (identified as ‘the son’) praises an ideal warrior in a direct address to a charioteer, framing heroic excellence as moral governance—checking wrongdoing and protecting the dharmic.
