Kuntī’s Message to Kṛṣṇa

विद्याशूरं तप:शूरं दानशूरं तपस्विनम्‌ । ब्राह्मयया श्रिया दीप्यमानं साधुवादे च सम्मतम्‌

Transliteration

vidyāśūraṃ tapaḥśūraṃ dānaśūraṃ tapasvinam | brāhmyayā śriyā dīpyamānaṃ sādhuvāde ca sammatam

Translation

The son said: “He is a hero in learning, a hero in austerity, and a hero in generosity—truly an ascetic. He shines with the noble, Brahmanical splendor of spiritual excellence, and he is widely approved and praised by the good.”
