मुचुकुन्दस्ततो राजा सोडन्वशासद्‌ वसुन्धराम्‌ | बाहुवीर्यार्जितां सम्यक्‌ क्षत्रधर्ममनुव्रत:,तदनन्तर क्षत्रियधर्ममें तत्पर रहनेवाले राजा मुचुकुन्दने अपने बाहुबलसे प्राप्त की हुई इस पृथ्वीका न्यायपूर्वक शासन किया

Mucukundas tato rājā so 'nv aśāsad vasundharām | bāhuvīryārjitāṁ samyak kṣatradharmam anuvrataḥ ||

Then King Mucukunda ruled the earth with justice—this realm he had won by the strength of his own arms—remaining steadfastly devoted to the dharma of a kṣatriya.
