अक्षद्यूतं महाप्राज्ञ सतां मतिविनाशनम् | असतां तत्र जायन्ते भेदाक्ष॒ व्यसनानि च,“महामते! जूएका खेल तो सत्पुरुषोंकी बुद्धिको भी नाश करनेवाला है और यदि दुष्ट पुरुष उसमें प्रवृत्त हों तो उनमें बड़ा भारी कलह होता है तथा उन सबपर बहुत-से संकट छा जाते हैं
Translation
O great-minded one, the game of dice destroys the judgment even of the virtuous. And when wicked men engage in it, fierce discord arises among them, and many calamities descend upon them.
