Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how ethical counsel (dharma-based speech) can be thwarted when leaders are ruled by intolerance and pride; impulsive interruption in a public assembly signals moral resistance to reconciliation and accelerates conflict.

As Kṛṣṇa (Dāśārha) is speaking in the Kuru court, Duḥśāsana interjects and addresses Duryodhana, indicating the Kauravas’ unwillingness to patiently hear conciliatory or corrective advice and foreshadowing the collapse of diplomacy.
