पूर्वमेतां दिशं गच्छ या पूर्व परिकीर्तिता । देवतानां हि सांनिध्यमत्र कीर्तितवानसि

pūrvam etāṃ diśaṃ gaccha yā pūrvā parikīrtitā | devatānāṃ hi sānnidhyam atra kīrtitavān asi ||

Gālava said: “Go first to that quarter which is called the East. For you have yourself declared that in this direction there is the special nearness and presence of the gods.”
