गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्

Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu

तस्य शुश्रूषणे यत्नमकरोद्‌ गालवो मुनि: । गौरवाद्‌ बहुमानाच्च हार्देन प्रियकाम्यया,उन दिनों उनके प्रति गौरवबुद्धि, विशेष आदर-सम्मानका भाव तथा प्रेम-भक्ति होनेके कारण उनकी प्रसन्नताके लिये गालव मुनि यत्नपूर्वक उनकी सेवा-शुश्रूषामें लगे रहते थे

tasya śuśrūṣaṇe yatnam akarod gālavō muniḥ | gauravād bahumānāc ca hārdena priyakāmyayā ||

Nārada said: Out of reverence, deep respect, and heartfelt affection—seeking only to please him—the sage Gālava exerted himself in attentive service and dutiful attendance. The verse highlights śuśrūṣā (devoted service) as an ethical discipline grounded not in compulsion but in sincere regard and loving intention.
