अरण्यवृत्ति-वैराग्योपदेशः | Forest Discipline and the Program of Non-Attachment

अत नवमो<्ध्याय: युधिष्ठटिरका वानप्रस्थ एवं संन्यासीके अनुसार जीवन व्यतीत करनेका निश्चय युधिछिर उवाच मुहूर्त तावदेकाग्रो मन:श्रोत्रेडन्तरात्मनि । धारयन्नपि तच्छुत्वा रोचेत वचनं मम,युधिष्ठिरने कहा--अर्जुन! तुम अपने मन और कानोंको अन्तःकरणमें स्थापित करके दो घड़ीतक एकाग्र हो जाओ, तब मेरी बात सुनकर तुम इसे पसंद करोगे

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: muhūrta-tāvad ekāgro manaḥ-śrotre ’ntarātmani dhārayan api tac chrutvā roceta vacanaṁ mama.

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Arjuna, for a short while—about a muhūrta—gather your mind and your hearing into the inner self. Even by holding them steady, when you listen to what I say, you will find my words agreeable.”
