Educational Q&A

The verse highlights that enduring excellence comes from nityotthāna—steady, continual exertion and readiness. Strength and good fortune are praised, but they are framed as effective only when joined to persistent initiative and disciplined effort.

Vāyu addresses the sage Nārada and points out that, besides any previously mentioned figures, there are many other formidable heroes within the Andhaka and Vṛṣṇi clans. He characterizes them as blessed, powerful, and consistently industrious, emphasizing the collective vigor and preparedness of these lineages.
