राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः

Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures

एवं पृष्टो महाप्राज्ञ: कौसल्येनामितौजसा । राजसत्कारमव्यग्रं शशंसास्मै बृहस्पति:

evaṁ pṛṣṭo mahāprājñaḥ kauśalyenāmitaujasā | rājasatkāram avyagraṁ śaśaṁsāsmai bṛhaspatiḥ ||

Thus questioned by the highly intelligent Kauśalya, a man of immeasurable vigor, Bṛhaspati—unperturbed and composed—set forth for him the proper manner of royal honor and reception. The scene frames kingship as a discipline of attentive, dharma-guided hospitality rather than mere display.
