तस्य यो वहते भारं सर्वलोकभयावहम् | तिष्ठन् प्रियहिते राज्ञ उभौ लोकाविमौ जयेत्,जो उस राजाके प्रिय एवं हितसाधनमें संलग्न रहकर उसके सर्वलोकभयंकर शासन- भारको वहन करता है, वह इस लोक और परलोक दोनोंपर विजय पाता है
tasya yo vahate bhāraṃ sarvalokabhayāvaham | tiṣṭhan priyahite rājña ubhau lokāv imau jayet |
Whoever bears that burden of governance which makes all the worlds tremble, and stands steadfast in promoting the king’s dear interests and true welfare—such a person wins both these worlds: here and hereafter.
वसुमना उवाच
Supporting righteous governance is a high dharmic duty: one who helps bear the heavy, fear-inspiring responsibility of rule—while remaining committed to the king’s true good—earns success in this life and spiritual merit in the next.
Vasumanā is describing the ethical stature of a loyal and capable supporter of the king—someone who shares the practical burden of administration and upholds the king’s welfare—stating that such service leads to victory in both worlds.
