राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः

Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures

धर्ममेव प्रपद्यन्ते न हिंसन्ति परस्परम्‌ । अनुगृह्नन्ति चान्योन्यं यदा रक्षति भूमिप:,जब राजा रक्षा करता है, तब सब लोग धर्मका ही पालन करते हैं, कोई किसीकी हिंसा नहीं करते और सभी एक-दूसरेपर अनुग्रह रखते हैं

Transliteration

dharmam eva prapadyante na hiṃsanti parasparam | anugṛhṇanti cānyonyaṃ yadā rakṣati bhūmipaḥ ||

Translation

When the king truly protects his realm, people naturally take refuge in dharma: they do not harm one another, and they show mutual kindness and support. The verse frames public morality as a direct fruit of just and vigilant kingship.
