अत्र गाथा यज्ञगीता: कीर्तयन्ति पुराविद: | वैखानसानां राजेन्द्र मुनीनां यट्टमिच्छताम्‌,राजेन्द्र! प्राचीन बातोंको जाननेवाले विद्वान्‌ इस विषयमें यज्ञकी अभिलाषा रखनेवाले वैखानस मुनियोंकी कही हुई एक गाथाका उल्लेख किया करते हैं, जो यज्ञके सम्बन्धमें गायी गयी है

Translation

Here, O Rajendra, the sages who know the lore of old recite a gāthā sung concerning yajña—a verse spoken by the Vaikhānasa munis who long for sacrifice.
