ये तु क्रतुभिरीजाना: श्रुतवन्तश्न भूमिपा: । य एवाहवजेतारस्त एषां लोकजित्तमा:,इन राजाओंमें जो भूपाल बड़े-बड़े यज्ञ करनेवाले तथा वेदशास्त्रोंके ज्ञानसे सम्पन्न हैं और जो युद्धमें विजय प्राप्त करनेवाले हैं, वे ही पुण्यलोकोंपर विजय प्राप्त करनेवालोंमें उत्तम हैं
Translation
Among these kings, those lords of the earth who perform great sacrifices, who are endowed with knowledge of the Vedas and the shastras, and who are victors in war—those alone are the foremost among the conquerors of the worlds of merit.
