यन्मां भवन्तो वक्ष्यन्ति कार्यमर्थसमन्वितम् । तदहं वै करिष्यामि नात्र कार्या विचारणा,“आपलोग मुझे जिस किसी भी प्रयोजनपूर्ण कार्यके लिये आज्ञा देंगे, उसे मैं अवश्य पूरा करूँगा। इसमें कोई अन्यथा विचार नहीं करना चाहिये”
yan māṃ bhavanto vakṣyanti kāryam arthasamanvitam | tad ahaṃ vai kariṣyāmi nātra kāryā vicāraṇā ||
Vainya said: “Whatever task you command me to undertake—so long as it is purposeful and aligned with the good—I shall certainly carry it out. In this, there is no room for hesitation.”
भीष्म उवाच
