संसरन्तं प्रजाजालं संयुक्तो ज्ञानचक्षुषा | भीष्म द्रक्ष्यसि तत्त्वेन जले मीन इवामले,भीष्म! ज्ञानदृष्टिसे सम्पन्न होकर आप संसारबन्धनमें पड़नेवाले सम्पूर्ण जीवसमुदायको उसी तरह यथार्थ रूपसे देख सकेंगे, जैसे मत्स्य निर्मल जलमें सब कुछ देखता रहता है
Translation
O Bhīṣma, endowed with the eye of knowledge, you will see in truth the entire web of beings wandering in saṃsāra, as a fish sees all things in clear water.
