पूजयामास तांश्वापि विधिवद् भूरिदक्षिण:,बहुत दक्षिणा देनेवाले राजा युधिष्ठिरने वेदाध्ययनसे सम्पन्न तथा धैर्य और शीलसे संयुक्त ब्राह्मणोंद्वारा स्वस्तिवाचन कराकर उनका विधिपूर्वक पूजन किया और उन्हें एक हजार अशर्फियाँ दान कीं

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: King Yudhiṣṭhira, renowned for giving abundant gifts, had learned and self-controlled Brāhmaṇas—endowed with Vedic study, steadiness, and good conduct—recite auspicious blessings.
