अथ चूर्णैश्व गन्धानां नानापुष्पप्रियड्गुभि: । माल्यदामभिरासक्ते राजवेश्माभिसंवृतम्‌

Transliteration

atha cūrṇaiś ca gandhānāṁ nānāpuṣpapriyāṅgubhiḥ | mālyadāmabhir āsakte rājaveśmābhisaṁvṛtam ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: Then the royal residence was enclosed and made splendid—fragrant powders were strewn about, and it was richly adorned with many kinds of flowers, pleasing festoons, and garlands, creating an atmosphere of auspiciousness and refined royal decorum.
