त॑ भार्याप्युपचक्राम पादशौचादिभिर्गुणै: । उपपन्नां च तां साध्वीं पन्नग: पर्यपृच्छत

Transliteration

tāṁ bhāryāpy upacakrāma pādaśaucādibhir guṇaiḥ | upapannāṁ ca tāṁ sādhvīṁ pannagaḥ paryapṛcchat |

Translation

Bhishma said: The Nāga king’s wife approached him, bringing excellent items for service such as water for washing the feet and other requisites. Seeing his virtuous wife come near, the serpent-lord questioned her—thus continuing the narrative of household duty and respectful service within dharma.
