काम देवा ऋषयश्च सत्त्वस्था नृपसत्तम

kāma devā ṛṣayaś ca sattvasthā nṛpasattama

Vaiśampāyana said: “Desire—along with the gods and the seers—abides in the mode of goodness, O best of kings.”
