Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī

सर्वथा पाविता: स्मेह श्रुत्वेमामादित: कथाम्‌ | हरेविंश्वेश्वरस्येह सर्वपापप्रणाशनीम्‌,सम्पूर्ण विश्वके स्वामी श्रीहरिकी कथा सब पापोंका नाश करनेवाली है। उसे आरम्भसे ही सुनकर हम सब लोग यहाँ सर्वथा पवित्र हो गये हैं

Transliteration

sarvathā pāvitāḥ sma iha śrutvemām āditaḥ kathām | hareḥ viśveśvarasya iha sarvapāpapraṇāśanīm ||

Translation

Janamejaya said: “By hearing this account from the very beginning, we have all become completely purified here. For this is the story of Hari, the Lord of the universe, and it destroys every sin.”
