धर्मद्वारबहुत्वविमर्शः — Reflection on the Many ‘Doors’ of Dharma (Śānti-parva 342)

वरदं नमस्व कौन्तेय हव्यकव्यभुजं नम | कुन्तीकुमार! तुम हव्यदाता विष्णुको नमस्कार करो, शरणदाता श्रीहरिको शीश झुकाओ, वरदाता विष्णुकी वन्दना करो तथा हव्यकव्यभोक्ता भगवान्‌को प्रणाम करो

varadaṃ namasva kaunteya havyakavyabhujaṃ nama | kuntīkumarā! tvaṃ havyadātā viṣṇuko namaskāra karo, śaraṇadātā śrīhariko śīśa jhukāo, varadātā viṣṇukī vandanā karo tathā havyakavyabhoktā bhagavānko praṇāma karo

Arjuna said: “O son of Kuntī, bow to Viṣṇu, the giver of boons. Offer reverence to the Lord who receives the sacrificial oblations (havis) and the ancestral offerings (kavya). Pay homage to Śrīhari, the refuge of all, and honor the divine sustainer who accepts worship and grants protection.”
