धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)
स मन: सर्वभूतानां प्रद्युम्न: परिपठ्यते । “जो उसी संकर्षण अथवा जीवसे उत्पन्न होकर अपने कर्म (ध्यान, पूजन आदि) के द्वारा सनत्कुमारत्व (जीवन्मुक्ति) प्राप्त कर लेता है, जिसमें समस्त प्राणी लय एवं क्षयको प्राप्त होते हैं, वह सम्पूर्ण भूतोंका मन ही “प्रद्युम्मन” कहलाता है
sa manaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ pradyumnaḥ paripaṭhyate |
Bhishma said: That principle which is the “mind” of all beings is traditionally recited and understood as Pradyumna. In this teaching, Pradyumna signifies the cosmic mind into which all creatures ultimately dissolve; and by aligning one’s actions—such as meditation and worship—with that higher source, a seeker is said to attain a liberated, Sanatkumāra-like state even while living.
