नारायणीयमाख्यानम् (Nārāyaṇīyam Ākhyānam) — Nārada’s Return and Hymnic Consolidation
यक्षराक्षससंघैश्व विद्याधरगणैस्तथा । दिव्यै: पुष्पै: समाकीर्णमन्तरिक्षं समनन््तत:
yakṣarākṣasasaṃghaiś ca vidyādharagaṇais tathā | divyaiḥ puṣpaiḥ samākīrṇam antarīkṣaṃ samantataḥ ||
Bhishma said: “The sky in every direction was filled—crowded with hosts of Yakṣas and Rākṣasas, and likewise with companies of Vidyādharas—while divine flowers were scattered everywhere, as though the very heavens were bearing witness to the moment.”
भीष्म उवाच
The verse conveys that significant dharmic events are not merely human affairs; the wider cosmos is portrayed as responding—through celestial beings and auspicious signs—underscoring moral gravity and the idea that righteous order is witnessed beyond the earthly realm.
Bhīṣma describes an extraordinary scene: the atmosphere is crowded with supernatural/celestial beings (Yakṣas, Rākṣasas, Vidyādharas), and divine flowers rain or lie scattered throughout the sky, marking the moment as momentous and auspicious.
