विष्णोर्नि:श्वासवातो5यं यदा वेगसमीरित: । सहसोदीर्यते तात जगत्‌ प्रव्यथते तदा,“तात! यह भगवान्‌ विष्णुका नि:श्वास है। जब कभी सहसा वह नि:श्वास वेगसे निकल पड़ता है, उस समय यह सारा जगत्‌ व्यथित हो उठता है

viṣṇor niḥśvāsavāto ’yaṃ yadā vegasamīritaḥ | sahasodīryate tāta jagat pravyathate tadā ||

Bhīṣma said: “Dear one, this is the very wind of Lord Viṣṇu’s exhalation. Whenever that breath suddenly surges forth with force, the whole world is shaken and distressed.”
