तत्र देवगणा: साध्या महा भूता महाबला: । तेषामप्यभवत्‌ पुत्र: समानो नाम दुर्जय:,“पृथ्वी और आकाशमें जो महाबली और महान्‌ भूत-स्वरूप साध्य नामक देवगण अदृश्यभावसे रहते हैं, उनके दुर्जय पुत्रका नाम है समान

tatra devagaṇāḥ sādhya mahābhūtā mahābalāḥ | teṣām apy abhavat putraḥ samāno nāma durjayaḥ ||

Bhīṣma said: “There, in that realm, dwell the divine hosts known as the Sādhyas—mighty, elemental beings of great power, subtle and unseen. Among them too there was born a son, invincible in battle; his name was Samāna.”
