श्वः कार्यमद्य कुर्वीत पूर्वाह्न चापराह्निकम् । न हि प्रतीक्षते मृत्यु: कृतं वास्य न वाकृतम्,जो काम कल करना हो, उसे आज ही कर लेना चाहिये और जो दोपहर- बाद करना हो, उसे पहले ही पहरमें पूरा कर डालना चाहिये; क्योंकि मौत यह नहीं देखती कि इसका काम पूरा हुआ है या नहीं
Translation
Vyāsa said: What you would do tomorrow, do today; and what you would do in the afternoon, complete in the morning. For death does not wait—it does not consider whether the work is done or left undone.
